p>近日，外国人史学家的测试基金这两项旨在支持者不愿传教士积极开展的测试工作的外籍出类拔萃科研人员，在近现代内地积极开展基础的测试工作，有利于外国人史学家与近现代史学家相互间积极开展长期、稳定的学术界携手与交流。该基金这两项包括三个层面：外国人青年人史学家的测试基金这两项、外国人等奖项史学家的测试基金这两项、外国人资深史学家的测试基金这两项。此次育才史学家斩表彰的即为后两个层面。

2021年宁诺国内自然科学基金刊发成果全面开花，验收总数世界性化很低。近年来，宁波市剑桥大学以“集世界性知性，解决问题；也最初问题”为己任，不停提很低科学的测试实力和服务；也的能力，受到重视科研成果受益，树立很低水平科研高层面标杆。

Two Malaysian UNNC academics awarded NSFC funding

The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) recently announced that it was awarding the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) for the first time with a category of Research Fund for International Scientists. Professor Alain Chong and Professor David Phang, were awarded the 2021 Research Fund for International Young Scientists and the Research Fund for International Senior Scientists respectively.

2021 Research Fund for International Young Scientists and the Research Fund for International Senior Scientists aim to support outstanding international academics who come to China to carry out research work, and promote long-term and stable academic cooperation and exchanges between both Chinese and international academics.

The research project submitted for the NSFC research funds by Professor Alain Chong is concerned with the data-sharing mechanism of electronic healthcare records (EHR).The key objective of this proposed project is to examine the factors that influence healthcare professionals’ behavioural intention to adopt and actual use of EHR. Professor Chong believes that in the face of the pandemic, the low adoption rate of EHR needs to be paid more attention to. If the sharing of EHR between healthcare facilities and even countries can be realised to a certain extent, it will be instrumental in the development of medicine and overcoming medical problems.

The second research project was submitted by Professor David Phang and focuses on the values of physical-virtual integration enabled by AR technology. As Professor Phang states, AR technology can be used to overlay online information and virtual objects into physical reality, so markets can use this technology to provide consumers with a better shopping experience, thereby stimulating the retail economy.

In addition, Professor Chong and Professor Phang were recently listed in the ranking of the 2021 “Highly cited Chinese Researchers”. They will both be co-chairing the 15th China Summer Workshop on Information Management which will be held at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. This year’s conference will focus on the latest innovations in information systems research, including the integration of big data analytics, AI, and behavioural research. Professor Chong expressed the hope that the conference will be used as an opportunity to explore the integration of different research methods to gain deeper insights into the use, design, and impact of information systems.

Set up by the NSFC, the Research Fund for International Scientists is aimed at providing research opportunities for and contributing to the career development of international scientists who are conducting research in China’s mainland. In 2021, a record-breaking number of projects were approved for funding by the NSFC including for international scientists. In recent years, UNNC has taken its mission of “using global wisdom to solve local problems” to continuously strengthen its capabilities of scientific research and serve local development, contribute to the development of scientific research, and attach importance to the practicality of scientific research results.
